The Center for Teaching the Rule of Law gratefully acknowledges the many years of support that the project received from the Virginia Law Foundation

From the outset, the Rule of Law Project has been grateful for support provided by The Virginia Law Foundation. This support allowed the Virginia Bar Association, which was then the Project's administrator, to fund the first three pilot projects in the Roanoke Valley, Charlottesville, and Petersburg. In the following years, VLF grants were made available to local bar associations for instituting Rule of Law Project events in their communities. When administration of the Rule of Law Project was transferred to the Center for Teaching the Rule of Law, the VLF continued to provide much need support.
The Mission of the Virginia Law Foundation is to promote, through philanthropy, the Rule of Law, access to justice, and law-related education
