The Center for Teaching the Rule of Law
The lawyer is evermore the leader in society.
- Justice David J. Brewer, 1895
The Center for Teaching the Rule of Law is proud of its tradition of working with the legal community to promote a greater understanding of the role played by the Rule of Law in American society and in global relations among nations. In local communities that relationship is best expressed through the partnerships we help create between Judges, Lawyers and Educators in bringing The Rule of Law Project into the classroom.
We invite members of the legal community to explore the many ways that they can participate in their communities through programs offered by the Center. We currently offer Volunteer and Continuing Legal Education opportunities in Virginia. Judges and attorneys from outside Virginia may visit our National and Global Outreach page to learn how to implement The Rule of Law Project in their own state or region.
